I’m thrilled to announce for the first time since the pandemic started, I have a beautiful new space for in-office therapy in San Diego. I know several of you have been asking me for in-person therapy, and I’m so glad to be able to accommodate.

Where can I meet you for in-office therapy in San Diego?

The new location is: 3725 Talbot Street, Suite F, in the Loma Plaza, near Jensen’s and Peet’s Coffee. You can find my new therapy office in the heart of Point Loma, between Ocean Beach and Sunset Cliffs and the Wooded Area.

Do I still offer telehealth throughout California?

Yes, video and phone sessions are still offered as long as you are located somewhere within the state of California at the time of the appointment.

When is an in person therapy session better than telehealth?

It truly is personal preference: you might like the non-verbal connection and nervous system coregulation that is possible being together in the same room. For those with a brand new baby or unpredictable chronic health conditions, telehealth might still be more convenient.

I think when therapists first started offering telehealth, it seemed like a great way to save time. No need to drive there and back.

In defense of the drive there and back

Personally, I think the drive to therapy is a great time to think about what you want to work on and what is most pressing to you that day. The drive home is actually an important time to let the session sink in and metabolize. Bonus: it doesn’t hurt if your drive home is the scenic route along Sunset Cliffs!
